About Haro Hollertt

From numbers and trading screens to calm and structure.

BGenius was founded by Haro Hollertt, a strategic adviser with a background in finance, trading and entrepreneurship. He translates numbers, processes and behaviour into calm and grip in day-to-day practice.

Personal starting point

I do not believe the goal is to extract as much as possible from every day. The goal is to work out what actually holds value — and to make room for it.

Background & formation

The three perspectives

My view of organisations did not come from theory. It was shaped in three very different places.

Phase 01

As a controller

I learned to look at what numbers say, and above all at what they leave out. Bookkeeping records the past. Steering asks for insight into what is happening now and what is coming.

The lesson for boards

Numbers are never the destination. They show what people did and decided. A report nobody makes a decision on is ballast.

Phase 02

As a trader

Financial markets taught me to deal with uncertainty and risk. The market takes no notice of what you want. Quality sits in discipline, risk management and not acting on emotion.

The lesson for boards

Uncertainty comes with the job. Protect your downside first: let that go, and you lose control.

Phase 03

As an entrepreneur

Constantly looking at how ideas, processes and systems can be set up more intelligently. Running businesses taught me that calm and growth come from structure that works for you.

The lesson for boards

An organisation is alive. Change starts with clear frameworks in which people feel calm and ownership.

Method & character

No advisory jargon. Solutions that work.

What I deliberately do not do

No reports for the desk drawer

Traditional consultancy produces thick reports full of jargon, written by rotating teams. The result is meeting time and elegant models. In daily practice, little changes.

  • No chain from junior analysts to overloaded partners.
  • No slogans without numbers behind them.
  • No keeping processes alive simply because that is how it has always gone.

A process has succeeded when everyone knows why it exists and nobody suffers from it.

How we work together

Direct, tangible and close to the core

You work exclusively with Haro. We go through the numbers, the decision-making and the behaviour around it. Then we build systems that pay for themselves in time, grip and calm.

  • Direct involvement

Full attention for your situation. One to one, including the big questions.

  • Working mechanisms

We do not write theory. We set up dashboards, automate work and make decision-making clear.

  • People and system

Attention for the routines, convictions and energy leaks under the formal structure.

Core values

What I stand for

Clarity

Back to the core. If you cannot explain a process or business model in plain language on a single sheet of paper, you do not understand it well enough yet.

Independence

No hidden interests and no software on commission. I stand on the entrepreneur’s side, and I say what is uncomfortable to hear.

Decisiveness

Insight only counts once something changes. We cut redundant meetings, clean up spreadsheets and bring control where there was chaos.

Attention & discipline

Attention, meditation and sharp observation.

Alongside more than twenty years in finance, risk and operations, daily meditation and attention form the basis of the way I work. Not as theory, but as a discipline: keeping noise and essence apart.

  • Awareness & calm

Looking without judging straight away keeps the head cool and prevents rushed decisions.

  • Looking sharply at what holds value

Room appears by cutting whatever adds nothing. In processes, and in your head.

For years I have moved between different worlds. Numbers and entrepreneurship. Trading and risk. Strategy and execution. Technology and people.

But the way I look at things was not shaped by work alone.

Over the years I have gone deeper into attention, awareness and observation. Not as a label. Not as a doctrine. As a way of living.

Meditation, and the ideas around letting go, observing and reacting less automatically, changed how I see work and life.

I found that most energy is not lost in what actually happens, but in our continuous internal reaction to it.

I use that insight in business as well. Because people build companies. And the way we look ultimately determines what we build.

BGenius is where those worlds come together for me. Business. Numbers. Technology. Systems. Awareness. And the life around it.

Not to get everything perfectly under control. Precisely to need less unnecessary control.

I do not believe the goal is to extract as much as possible from every day.

The goal is to work out what actually holds value — and to make room for it.

Room to work on what matters. And room to enjoy it.
